What about remote desktop?  My BBS PC has a monitor, but usually I leave its
monitor turned off, and when I'm on my main PC, I'll remote desktop into my BBS
machine.  Usually I use VNC for that (although my BBS machine runs Windows and
I could use Windows Remote Desktop if I wanted to).
