Interesting... we had a surplus and a small debt and the debt at the time was over WWI...  The cost of the war plus rebuilding parts of Europe.

Back in the day JP Morgan lent the Government money and the citizens were so pissed they demanded that they pay the debt off and were told never do it again.

Or good friend @RonL will tell you that the Elites wanted The Federal Reserve and the Income Tax Act to be passed so that the Elites can enrich themselves.

Now in 2026 We are TRILLION AND TRILLIONS in debt.  Prior to the 2024 election the only sector creating jobs was the government.

Now we have factories moving back to the US and the private sector creates the jobs.

I'm not waiting around the mail box for a check.  I'd rather the debt be paid down for my children' sake.

Trump has paused Illegal immigration, I am/was a migrant at one time... I did it legally and and feel everyone else should do the same.
