Sorry... I thought I Bad Bunny was Puerto Rican, that's where he got the Spanish speaking from.

This reminds me of my Puerto Rican story...

I knew a "Puerto Rican"... He was from NYC and was now in Florida.  I think I told you I was on the Bord of Directors for Pop Warner Football for my region.

Anyway, we use to talk at the games and I got to know him.

John loved to speak in Spanglish, a little of both  languages, to flirt with the ladies...  This point is key.

He told me one time he saved up his money and his sister and he went to Puerto Rico... Once he was their and he was talking Spanish with the locals they asked him where he was from... he said here... I'm Puerto Rican... They laughed and said ... You're New YorRican, not Puerto Rican...

He almost died inside... He drove a car with a PR flag off the RV mirror... wore PR jewelery... You get the idea.  I'm not sure if he ever recovered.  He saw himself as a Puerto Rican and not a new Yorker.

More to the story.

He'd come to the games and he was telling me how he was flirting in Spanglish with some young girl at Subway and she was giving him a free sandwich.  Not Epstein young... I think she was like 22 and he was 40.

I said... John... there may be a day you'll have to "Pay" for those sandwiches, you understand what I mean right... he said no no, everything is fine.

And then he comes to a game and says... Joe!!! you were right... I have to start "Paying".

She was this skinny Florida Cracker... Every time she came around you could hear the banjo from Deliverance play... we lost touch with each other and I happen to be in the area with my wife to go on a cruise... and I see John... I get his attention... He's excited and comes over with a baby.

Holds him up and says this my son... Carlos Juan Jorge Pedro Jesus Manuel, you can't get any more Puerto Rican than that  ... he's a Cracker Rican.
