I'll take AI teachers over DEI teachers. IJ> No, each province is separate each city might be as well... Edmonton IJ> school board runs Edmonton... and so on... You don't need someone in IJ> Washington telling you what you need teach or do in Georgia. You're right about that, but while schools rely on federal grants (which they do but shouldn't) then they ought to do what the Dept. of Ed. tells them to do. Linda McMahon was in NY recently but she's turning a blind eye to all the DEI stuff that she's supposed to be shuttering. Whereas Calgary should have plans for their young people IJ> as well. You're right, they should. In other countries (Panama for example) the high school kids are required to choose a trade and learn the basics of it before graduation. My wife specialized in graphic design. In NY we have trade schools for 11-12th graders (BOCES) but only a small fraction of the kids even go to it, while the majority of the kids get very minimal or no guidance at all for post secondary education. I learned everything the hard way and wasted tons of money and time. IJ> NY has a different economy and demands than that of Wyoming and what not IJ> same as Alberta is to Ontario. Good point. They don't need DEI specialists in Wyoming, but they need them here. ;) --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 2023/04/30 (Windows/64) * Origin: JoesBBS.Com, Telnet:23 SSH:22 HTTP:80 (1:342/201) .
