That's what I would call a kick ass school board. It's the opposite here.

Here in the states, I believe that the state has the authority to dictate educational requirements like that. But in Canada, the national government decides?

It sounds like they are out of control, in Canada. I don't blame the teachers here in the states though. Most of them didn't sign up for this sh!t. My son's teacher punished some kids for not standing for the pledge of allegiance. I think that's cool as hell.
