That has been the case from the first release I have used up to the latest (1.0.6). If your system is not getting updated I suggest that you: 1. Check the o/p from the error.log file and see if there is a msg about it. 2. Check the file attributes to ensure that mbse has w (write) access enabled, i.e., using ls -la golded.* you should see: ------ [mbse@Applewood etc]$ ls -la golded.* -rwxrwxr-x 1 mbse bbs 4784 Mar 25 18:51 golded.cfg* -rwxrwxr-x 1 mbse bbs 16221 Mar 25 22:02 golded.inc* -rw-r--r-- 1 mbse bbs 2048 Aug 7 2015 golded.log -rw-r--r-- 1 mbse bbs 1026 Mar 28 13:55 golded.msg ------ Linix distros can and do have different default file and directory creation settings from the base standard and these can interfere with the way mbse works as I sometimes notice with Mageia.
