      Title: Gottlieb's Gourmet Sweet Tooth Gruel
 Categories: Breakfast, Cereals
      Yield: 1 Batch

    1/2 c  Barley
      2 c  Water
      1 tb Carob powder
      1 tb Dried coconut
      1 ts Blackstrap molasses
      2    Dates; up to 3, chopped

  Technically, gruel is thin porridge. But this recipe is for gourmet
  gruel, and is thick with goodies.

  Cook brley in water for 30 to 40 minutes. When ready, satisfy your
  sweet tooth with the other ingredients.
