I think AI could be a good thing. However, the "tech bros" who are mostly in charge of its current development seem to be more concerned with its rapid expansion (capabilities and use) than with its ethical use. Maybe that is a misconception on my part, but that is my concern. If I were Canadian and had been asked that question, I would not be in the 9% for that reason. I am not real surprised of the 71.8% number a year ago. I would be more surprised if that number was still the same, or higher, today. Then again, if a lot of the businesses surveyed are not really into tech now, or are maybe a part of the service industry, that context might make that high number seem more sensible.
