The Full Gopher Archive

Gopher protocol was invented to distribute, search and retrieve information on
Internet with text oriented user terminals by Mark P. McCahill and his team in
the University of Minnesota. Is considered as first platform providing  large
scale electronic library connection.

Information stored here were once downloaded with Gopherbot,  by John Goerzen,
2006 (or so). Full Gopher Archive is available as a torrent worldwide.

TarGZ is not very widely used on non-linux desktops, meanwhile RAR is good for
linux too,  so I have converted the archive file  from to rar format,  removed
empty folders and made the structure available both for http (www)  and gopher
browsers. (Recommended browsers: Lynx, Firefox with Overbite plugin.)

The server is running on  Banana Pi dual core ARM A20 CPU with 1GB RAM.  Files
are on Kingston 64GB USB Drive.  Device is running  Bananian  Linux 15.08 with
Apache serving webpages, while PyGopherd serving gopher.
