                        Plain Tomato Sauce I.E.S.

   3      tb            Olive oil
     1/2  ts            Pepper -- freshly ground
   1      tb            Parsley -- chopped
  24      oz            Can Italian tomatoes --
                        - drained, coarsely chopped
   1      cl            Garlic -- chopped
     1/2  ts            Salt
     1/2  ts            Oregano
   1      sm            Onion -- chopped
   1      tb            Butter

Saute garlic and onion in oil. Add tomatoes, parsley, salt, pepper,
oregano, and butter, and simmer uncovered 15 to 20 minutes. Correct
seasoning if necessary.
