       I figured out why I coudn't get a gophermap file to appear. It was file permissi
       Pretty obvious in retrospect, need to allow "others" to view the file if you wan
       
       I've created a few simple scripts locally on my own computer to help make gopher
       one of these even includes a line to change the file permissions.
       
       Still can't figure how to get external web links to work though, but that might 
       the 'gopher' program on my computer tries to open these in lynx? It's parsing th
