April 20th, 2018:

	It's 4/20!  The day where the potheads of the world get together 
to celebrate Hitler's birthday or something.  I dunno, haven't done that 
stuff in over 25 years...

Not going to be up to much this weekend, the missus and I are expecting 
a furniture delivery tomorrow and, as is typical for Ikea, their delivery 
times will be between 9am and 9pm, so the day is pretty much shot from the 
get-go.  No biggie, there's plenty of household drudgery we can do while 
we wait.  It is, after all, Spring Cleaning season!

I'm hoping to have time to put my Peugeot bike together this weekend.  
It's not looking good, time-wise, but should the opportunity present 
itself, I'm taking it.

Speaking of bikes, I was pleasantly surprised last night to have received 
the brake cables and housing I ordered on the 13th.  Six days outta Hong 
Kong, that's pretty good!  I was further surprised to have received TWO 
sets of cables & housing (front and back) as well as two extra pairs of 
brake cables when I'd only paid for one complete set.

Being an honest(ish) guy, I informed the seller of the overshipment and 
offered to pay for the extra goods.  He got back to me right away and told 
me not to worry, to consider it a bonus!  Shit, can't complain about that, 
eh?  It'd be nice to have spares if I ever need...

Lastly, it appears the cats tolerate each other.  Daffodil has made 
herself at home, and Czarina is actually trying to be friendly.  Good news 
all around!
