To have a safe connection to telnet so that you can play the game you need 
SSH

	IF  you have windows goto www.vandyke.com/pub/CRT/crt404.exe
	Place it on desktop and double click on it. It should be labeled 
	CRT 4.0
	Click ok until you reach the quick connection window
		For protocol select telnet 
		For Hostname type in sdf.lonestar.org
		Click connect
		Wait untill login shows up and for login type new
		The backspace wont work on the username or the password
