Everybody's living in a bubble. Nothing wrong with that. Bubbles used to have some size of N>1, like your tribe or your extended family. Then it became the closer family and eventually N became one. We no longer care about our friends and partner, but only how we feel around them. We no longer care what our children feel, but only how satisfied we will be with the way they turn out. It is the ultimate loneliness. The ultimate despair. The way out is easy. Or is it?
