This is my first phlog post to gopher! Or, it's the first that I'll leave in place.

I only recently joined sdf, and discovered gopher when I did. I like it.

I wrote "that I'll leave in place" because I have been creating and deleting mostly empty 'test' files while I play around and figure this out. I've seen that a lot of others have interesting pages which link to other files/directories, which seem to update dynamically as they pake new posts. I haven't figured out how to create one of these yet, so for now it'll be just flat files.

Today it's snowing in...most of the northeast US. As I type this at 18:40 my weather station reads 25F outside, but it was below 10F when I woke up.
It's been very windy as it snows, so the accumulation is mostly in snow drifts.
