Playing with Bill is Papa Mali, guitar; Matt Hubbard, keyboards; and Brad Houser, bass. Kreutzmann was one of the founding members of the Grateful Dead. Thanks to the Live Music Archive for hosting the 7 Walkers and Rhythm Devils concerts I'm playing tonight. In the days of the dead Bill Kreuzmann and Mickey Hart called themselves Rhythm Devils. In the 20 year interlude they would occasionally tour as the Rhythm Devils. Here they are now live at Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on July 24, 2011. Performing with Bill and Mickey are Keller Williams, Steve Kimock, and Reed Mathis and they're doing the Reverend Gary Davis song, "Samson and Delilah". Rhythm Devils, Samson And Delilah ------- Rhythm Devils, Not Fade Away Now That's what I'm talking about, it's the Rhythm Devils putting their own beat to "Not Fade Away". Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org. I'm Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue and I've got two more songs featuring Bill the Drummer. Here's 7 Walkers playing "Deal" which is also the title of Bill's musical autobiography. And then closing the show we'll hear the Grateful Dead recorded live in 1975 playing "King Solomon's Marbles". Until next time this is Hairy Larry reminding you once again, blues is the mainstream. 7 Walkers, Deal Grateful Dead, King Solomon's Marbles
