       Bob Kummerfeld is the codeveloper of the MHSnet, a set of messaging
       protocols with about the same age and user base as X.400. Kummerfeld,
       former chair of the Computer Science Department in Sydney, talks about
       messaging protocols and standards and what makes one group successful
       and another less so. This interview was recorded March, 1994 in
