Writing Is Worth All The Effort

Yesterday I published on my website a long form piece about Gopher,
"Gopher, A Simple Alternative To The Bloatware Of The Web"[1].
Writing relatively long form pieces like this one is hard work for
me because I'm not a native English speaker, I'm self taught, and
I'm always afraid of making mistakes. It take me hours to write,
edit, read, re-edit,... Then I publish it but I'm sure it still
has many grammar and wording mistakes.

Since yesterday I've met a few interesting persons on Mastodon
because of my post and I also had some interesting exchanges of
opinions with people who like Gopher, and also with people who are
not convinced by it or are against it [2].

Exchange opinions and connecting with like-minded people is a
rewarding experience so, even if it's hard work, writing is worth
all the effort :-)
