DESCRIPTION
This Emergency Maintenance Update (EMU) is provided on an asneeded basis only.  It is not an official release nor is it available through Corporate Software and Publications Operations (CSPO).  The information in this document is supplemental to the product's Software Release Announcement (SRA).

NOTE : There is no 's' release on TCPIP between s2.2.12 and s2.2.50.

PLE 17050036			FTP Server fails to transmit full file.

PLE 17020943			TCP SERVER PROCESS CRASHES UNDER HEAVY LOAD
						While using Socket API and listening at a TCPIP 
						Port, TCP  Server process crashes with erc 80 
						under heavy load. Looking at program logs all 			
						calls seem to be answered. It takes 510 minutes 
						to crash under continuous load.

PLE 16643424 			FTP PUT RUNS IN BATCH FOREGROUND BUT NOT IN BATCH 	
                        BACKGROUND. 
                        Getting Termination Status code 0 but nothing is 
                        sent.

PLE 16996980			THE DISPLAYNQUIT PARAMETER IN THE CLEAR FTP QUEUE 	
						COMMAND DOES NOT WORK. 
						The customer is using the clear ftp queue 				
						command in background batch with the DisplayNQuit 
						parameter as Yes and this does'nt work.

PLEs Fixed in s2.2.10

PLE 16381918	        Error 80 occured when installing IP if  	
						TCPIP.params contained a large number of host 	
						definitions.

PLE 16394068			ICMP messages were generated with an incorrect source 
						address.  This problem could alert network security 
						monitors.

PLE 16445797			Incorrect UDP source address provided on cached UDP 	
						packets.  This problem could cause PCNFSd to 
						deinstall, when NFS print jobs were processed on CTOS.

PLE 16454303			Fragmented TCP packets were not reassembled.  This 
						problem caused Telnet and FTP sessions to fail when 
						run in a small packet network.

PLE 16479241			Fragmented UDP packets reassembled incorrectly, when 
						cached.  This problem resulted in mixed output of NFS 
						print jobs on CTOS.

PLEs Fixed in s2.2.09

PLE 16306568  		TCPIP operations manager cannot be used without 	
	 16306584			CM.

PLE 16362115			After sixteen socket closures no more can be obtained.

PLE 16379662			IP Server crashes when a corrupt broadcast frame is 
						received.

PLE 16399311			Only the first X.25 address is used when multiple are 
						defined.

PLE 16409057			FTP connection over X.25 cannot be opened more often 		
						than not.

PLE 16434361			SMTP not correctly sending replies back to Microsoft 
						Mail.

This EMU contains the entire package for TCPIP.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Installation Manager to install the new software. The installation will overwrite the TCPIP.params file but will save the old file as save>tcpip.params.
