SOFT KEYS
The function key options are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
A highlighted field identifies the active option.

LOCAL
The off line state. If data is in the Ring Buffer, up to one window of
data will be displayed in the Monitor Window.
The 'Buffer Posn' field in the status display gives the logical offset
 of the first character displayed.

You may examine the data using the NEXT PAGE, PREV PAGE, SCROLL UP and
SCROLL DOWN keys or the JUMP option.

RECEIVE
 The on line state.
The BMULTI character stream is displayed and collected in the Ring Buffer.
Any undefined key will enter the FREEZE mode.

FREEZE
The BMULTI character stream is collected in the Ring Buffer, however the
CRT display is not updated until an exit from the FREEZE mode.
Any undefined key will exit FREEZE and return to RECEIVE.
CANCEL will exit the RECEIVE state.

JUMP
Prompts for a logical offset. On return to LOCAL, the data display begins with
the character at the specified offset.

CLEAR
 Clears the Ring Buffer

SAVE
Saves the data in the Ring Buffer. You may specify the starting offset
and number of bytes to save.

LOAD
Loads a previously saved file into the Ring Buffer for examination.
The file must have been created by the BMLineMonitor or a compatible
 program.

The file will be truncated to fit in the memory allocated for the Ring
 Buffer.

BFRSIZE
Changes the size of the Ring Buffer

FILE
Change the default file specification that will be used by the LineMonitor

FINISH
From LOCAL the FINISH key will exit the LineMonitor.

GOCANCEL
In general, the CANCEL key will escape or abort an activity and the
GO key will confirm an action.

ERROR MESSAGES
Text messages are provided for the most commonly encountered errors.
In the event that a text message is not available, the error number will
 appear on the screen.
There are two classes of errors: System Errors and Application Errors.
System errors are normal BTOS errors. Error numbers may be looked up in
 appropriate BTOS documentation.
Application errors are internal to the LineMonitor.

FONTS
The LineMonitor will attempt to load a font file from the default
directory. The font file specification is in the form:
BmMonitorFont.Bxx, where Bxx describes the video compatibility
 of the hardware.

                                ***END***
