"I was 13 years old. Grew up on computers and they always came
second nature to me. With my parents second phone line I ran this
WWIV BBS for about 3 years. Amazing looking back.. The big one
around the area was Heartland BBS with 16 lines.. i would play
doomII Multiplayer every day.. up to 8 at a time.. that was
unheard of to me at the time. soon enough i remember some WEB
portal opening on their.. something called the internet... things
