This Hole? is proudly served up by a little HP Elitedesk 800 G1, running FreeBSD. I've used FreeBSD on and off over 25+ years (I used to use it as desktop OS in the early 2000s, even playing GTA Vice City on it through the Linux emulation layer and what was at the time called WineX, with the DirectX calls being translated to OpenGL on the fly. It ran surprisingly well. Recently I wanted a home lab, and naturally a BSD was going to go on it. It's been a great learning experience, I'd never used jails in the past, and never used ZFS either. Hell, I didn't know what the ZFS fuss was about, but now I've grokked it to a certain extent, I'm kinda blown away by what it can do.
