       Hitori Dake no Renga - I Am In Ice, And I Must Scream (95)

       This was actually inspired by the old Infocom game Suspended: A
       Cryogenic Nightmare, more specifically the "mask box," which I
       actually had at one stage and can no longer find. The eyes in
       that box were just the creepiest things in the world, fully
       manifesting the terror of someone encased fully conscious in a
       death mask; regrettably this picture just does not do that kind
       of creepiness justice (especially because the eyes in this
       picture are actually mine, hand-tinted and painted from a
       photograph). The outline and the mask were originally Poser
       renders which were then distilled down and airbrushed.
