                  TidBITS 2025 Holiday Hiatus-See You in 2026!

   Adam Engst

   We're signing off for 2025 with this final email issue. I'll keep watch
   for late-breaking news and chime in on TidBITS Talk through the week;
   after that, I invite you to step back with me and enjoy a brief respite
   from the tech churn.

   The next issue of TidBITS will appear on 5 January 2026, when we'll
   start another year of helping you keep up with your ever-changing Apple
   devices and services, work more efficiently and effectively, and find
   delight in the magic of today's technologies.

   At this time of year, Tonya and I always reflect on what we're doing
   with TidBITS, why we do it, and how grateful we are to the people who
   make it possible:
     * TidBITS members: We're deeply grateful to [1]everyone who supports
       us through the [2]TidBITS membership program! Your contributions
       make our work possible, and knowing you value what we do inspires
       us to keep delivering practical, useful information.
     * TidBITS sponsors: While 93% of our revenue comes from TidBITS

     * Translators: Our gratitude goes out to the diligent volunteers who
       translate TidBITS into [12]Dutch and [13]Japanese each week and
       distribute their translations to more than 1600 people who prefer
       to read in their native languages. Both teams are always looking
       for more volunteers, so if you're looking for a new hobby with

     * The TidBITS community: Our thriving [15]TidBITS Talk forum is a
       welcoming place to bring your Apple questions and trade hard'won

       sees less regular activity, but we love it when TidBITS readers
       join us there for live Apple events. Thanks for being part of the
       community!
     * Readers like you: Finally, if all you do is read what we publish,
       that's totally fine too. More than anything, we write to be read,
       and we're grateful you make time for us.
