Schmitz Apache has released [1]OpenOffice 4.1, a maintenance update with a variety of tweaks to the free, open-source productivity suite. The release adds the capability to make comments and annotation on text ranges (instead of solely at text positions), improves editing of Input Fields by allowing modification of content directly within the text area, improves the interactive crop feature for use with all graphic object transformations, and improves importing of images (through both file dialog as well as drag and drop). OpenOffice 4.1 now requires Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and later.
