Schmitz Quickly responding to yet another critical security vulnerability, Adobe has updated the Mac version of the standalone [1]Flash Player to version 13.0.0.206. According to this [2]Adobe security bulletin, the update patches an exploit that has been used to target Flash Player users on the Windows platform to remotely take control of a system. But because this threat can also be exploited on Mac (and Linux) systems, Adobe recommends all users update Flash Player for Mac 13.0.0.201 and earlier to this new release. (To see which version of Flash that you have installed, visit this [3]Adobe page. If you use Google Chrome Web browser , make sure to close and restart it to get Chrome 34.0.1847.131 (which bundles Flash Player 13.0.0.206).
