Justice Dept. Orders Immigration Court Quotas to Speed Deportations

Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal reports the Justice Department has
ordered immigration judges to speed up deportation hearings, and will
evaluate their job performance based on how quickly they close cases.
The quotas mean that beginning October 1, judges will be expected to
complete at least 700 cases a year.
