Uncle of North Korean Leader Executed for Treason

North Korea says the uncle of its leader, Kim Jong Un, has been executed
for plotting a military coup. The state-run news agency said Jang
Song-thaek was killed Thursday after being convicted of treason. He was
previously seen as one of North Korea's most powerful figures.
