Delivery by Xmas

Surely needs to be dispatched by 3rd to get air mail to
international backers. Dispatch to shops will need to be
happening about the same time or ealier to ensure it can be on
shelves. Remember backers should be interested in the product
success not just their perk!
In which case there must be an expected packaging and shipping
planned in the next few weeks, I can only assume RCL are
concerned about announcing this in case any delays affect
pre-xmas shipping to all backers.

I changed my mind on this topic several times, but as of today
is 14.11. and there is silence about delivery date and no news
on progress with final unit, packaging, list of games
whatever....I have that feeling, they will pass Christmas
delivery. Still I have some hopes, but if it will by
January/February, I can still survive it. They are
unpredictable, I would say. Maybe tomorrow there will be update,
everything is ready for ship, but I do not think so.

I feel the same Peeto, I actually have no need for it turn up by
xmas, just that it turns up when we're told it will, so far
we've been told a lot and nothing at the same time.
Considering how over funded this project has been there really
isn't an excuse for a full time communication/pr person and
there must be some plans with contingencies in place, if they
would just communicate these to us, we'd know what to expect and
why, this would also quieten those using the lack of information
to raise the other issues with the project.
If the final production was approved and booked, there would be
a shipment date from SMS, and this could easily be announced,
but if it has been scheduled yet, based on what we've been told
that there is still feedback being reviewed from the protoypes,
then there really isn't any chance we'd see it before
mid-January at the earliest.
It's a shame but so long as the final product is well tested and
without issue.

Jools - exactly. I would better told to backers, that expected
delivery date is spring 2017 and if it is anytime sooner, it
will be just nice surprise for backers. But to promise September
for sure, than October 20th, than giving foggy answers like hold
on with zero real update for weeks .... Well, we all experienced
this and I feel ZX community deserves better communication. But
just my opinion, perhaps there are others, who do not care about
communication, just wants their product.
