Speedking was my favourite as well.
I did use a quickshot 2 quite a lot as well

So guys, please. Is there any joystick, which is new and works
similar like those old ones? Every new joystick I found/can by
USB/ is not good for Spectrum games, because joystick these days
are meant to be played for flying simulators, therefore any
speccy game is unplayable. Any tip please? I found that any
simple USB gamepad is good choice for speccy games and plays
well, but not everything. Joystick will just suits better as a
lot of games was meant to be played on joystick. any tip pls?

Not sure about modern joysticks, but if you get the chance to
buy a used Super Pro Zipstik go for it. They are virtually
indestructible and use nice micro switches that give a nice
positive feel and control.

I can't get on with joysticks these days, too use to control
pads with using moderner consoles. I'm alright with the
Technoplus Swift though.

if you can not get old joystick, than any modern gamepad, but
better choose one with thumbstick, this substitute real old
joystick in spectrum games very well.

Whatever modern cheap gamepad you will buy, choose one with that
included and never use dpad/there are real reason, after hard
testing/:

It will play all games just fine, as it was meant to be played.
Believe me, I try everything, you will be satisfy. Just imagine
playing emlyn hughes international soccer on dpad? Or
decathlons? Or operation thunderbolt, cabal ? That small stick
is just real winner.
