is is from someone who has for many years played ZX Spectrum
Games. i've played many games on various emulators, with file
formats including TXZ, TAP, Z80 etc. Showing my ignorance, and
for others to show their knowledge, I would ask, "What exactly
is the difference between all the different ZX Spectrum file
formats? Which one is Best? Does one have betterv quality, or
another have faster loading speed? So please, if anyone could
explain, I for one, would be VERY interested to hear

Z80 and other snapshot formats are less preffered, because it
only store informations at memory at time snapshot was taken. In
other words, you can play, but if game will have any other
loading sequence, you are out. TAP and TZX are nearly perfect
fully recreated datas including everything /loading pictures,
multiload of different levels if game has it and so on/. Another
practise example. If you load for example game Lemmings from
Z80, you can only play first level, if snapshot was taken there.
With TAP, after you succesfully finish 1st level, TAP
automatically knows and will load for you level2 and you can
continue
