Hi Martin..I really hope you get the wedge soon..Hopefully in
time when the weather is back on our side!..Sounds like you both
have a nail biting time of it..I get wedge withdrawals in my
sleep..I cant handle being without delilah any longer than
needed... :'(
Here is delilahs transplant progress..Pretty quick really as i
only dropped her off this morning...Cheers..Ziga

Cheers chaps..Martin i really do sympathise with you as you have
had a right bollix time of wedge ownership and deserve to enjoy
the beast..When its done you will have one sorted wedge
mate..The weather is shyte at the moment so perhaps its not a
bad thing..I certainly dont want a supercharger fitted in the
winter months..It will all come together in the end and you will
have plenty of enjoyment from the SX..As i said mate you are a
cool dude and are too kind sometimes and people take kindness
for weakness..Now and then you need to roar like the beast
itself..Its keeps people on their toes..
TBH also i have kind of been reasonably happy being single but
certain things have happened lately that made me feel lonely and
un-wanted..Women can be fugging cruel sometimes..but there are
still some good people out there..Dont give up dude..Speak
soon..Happy new year..Ziga

+1 In all i think delilah may of been off the road for a total
of 12 months in my ownership, I took a chance on a ford mechanic
that only does classic
ford's..Capri's..Consul's..Cortina's..sierra's..Essex based cars
and mustang's..He has been doing them for thirty years..Yes he
can be a little bit messy and i may well have to clean the car
when i get it back but he has done the following for 1K..In fact
i was 200 light and he is totally cool..
1.Engine supply and fit..inc all my bling!..Fit new gaskets
2.Refurb or exchange the steering rack
3.Modify the friont chassis tube to accomodate the sprintex
pulley
4.Supply and fit a cosworth clutch
5.Fit a different type of power steering pump..(Capri).. With
new hydraulic hoses, Re-routed also
6.Clean engine bay and protect and paint chassis where he can
7.Paint heads and manifolds with HT spray paint.
8.Supply and fit new pulley belts..
9.Tune up.
If i had put her into a TVR dealer to do all this i too would be
waiting ages and paying a lot more..I do take her to Dan taylor
TVR who is reasonable if you tell him you are on a budget..but i
only use them for stuff like geo..suspension..re-bushing..Or
anything pacifically TVR..wedges are for life..We cant give up
on them..Even if they give up on us now and then..Keep the
faith.. Ziga

Right i spoke to v8d today rob has confirmed that the sx is all
back together now and that the tacho is sorted and back in the
car !! So all that is left is the mapping, so it wont be long
now ;) ;) after all this time i don't want the mapping rushed
and i have it from good authority that shaun is one of the best
guys for the mapping of the MS2.....

Great news Martin. Got to keep telling myself everything will be
ace once it is done. Weather is not good anyway. V8D really are
the best when it comes t these engines and everything will be as
good as it can be once i have it back. Just impatient......

Hi Chaps..It all sounds like its coming together..Albeit a bit
slow..You know once you get the beasts back it will only take
one drive and all will be forgotten.. :) I have tried a lot of
drugs in my life but the best one yet is a wedge.. ;D
Rob you think you are impatient mate..I studied for 10 years at
medical school studying human anatomy/Biology..Body science and
medicines only to be struck off the NHS medical services..When i
asked why they said i had no patients.. :D
