       Buggo

       Hey.
I'd like to talk a bit about the buggo mechanic in game, I don't
think it needs changing necessarrily, just want to get some
ideas out there and create some feedback
-Should we prevent zerg from killing nests (at least the ones
that are on the map by default, additionally built nests
sometimes get in the way, would be bad if zerg had no way to get
rid of it). I'm personally a huge fan of last hitting my side
nest with big spine, it's a nice feeling of getting the timing
right (especially vs. old firebats, it felt so good landing that
last hit), however with high gas income no longer attainable the
way it used to in version 3, perhaps it's time to remove the
ability to deny standard nests, what do you think?
-Should the buggo that spawns from nest behind big spine be
faster / have longer immunity (currently 30s), it happens
regularly that your opportunity to pressure isn't over after
taking that nest, so you continue being very far forward with
your army, thus unfortunately creating an unsecured area, and
sometimes stray zerg pick off your buggo. Of course you can make
an effort escorting it back, but maybe we should do a bit more
       here?
Saying it's too early to talk about such changes is a totally
fair point. It has only been 3 days since 4.0 :)
If you have more ideas for the buggo feel free to add them in a
       post^^

I do also have an idea regarding Buggos. Just some idea to throw
       out there.
It can be made that only the initial outer 6 Nests spawn a
Buggo. And regardless who kills the Nest, the player at that
location will get it. This to ensure all can get a Buggo and
perhaps to unlock tech with it. Maybe this also improves team
play as you can help out others to get more gas income. Buggos
may also produce more gas to compensate for just having one,
Zerg would also be more cautious about letting those initial
       Nests fall.
This would also mean that Zerg will be able to create new Nests
without the feeling of giving valuable gas to Terrans. Currently
Zerg doesn't quite reclaim territory because of this.

I like the idea of only the starting 6 nests spawning a buggo.
However I do not like the idea of requiring Buggo for Terran
       Tech Tree.
There are soft requirements and hard requirements. Hard
requirements are generally poor game design if they require
interaction with the other player. Soft requirements often force
it by necessity but can be acquired naturally if left
       uncontested for too long.
Look at melee, if you want a full carrier army you will have to
expand and take other bases, this opens you up for interaction
with the opposing player. However, you theoretically could sit
on one base and eventually have a full carrier army.

It is good that every nest spawns a buggo. That way aggressive
terrans are rewarded and if they somehow manage to kill 3 or 4
nests but their team implodes, the terran has a chance lategame
with the extra gas income. If anything, the gas income from
buggos should be increased to make up for the loss of tech lab
and to provide more incentive for a lot of these base campers to
       attack.

I don't think terrans should be guaranteed buggos. Zerg has very
few options as it is. Taking away the ability to snipe buggos
just tips the game even more in terrans favor. On the other hand
terrans requiring buggo for tech punishes players even more for
       having bad teammates.
Only making the og nests spawn buggos possibly enables some zerg
cheeses were they just plop a nest far forward without any
potential punishment if the terran were to break free. Further
punishing players for having bad allies.

A nest is 480 minerals, that's a punishment in itself.

Currently, when a good zerg sees that I am pushing, they will
preemptively kill their nest. Maybe make the starting nests
killable by the zerg only if the hp drops below 20% or after ~30
       minutes?
