       New patch feedback general
   DIR By: GrumpyKitten

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Opened this to have discussion on the new patch experience.
       General:
I think terrans are way stronger now, the buff is much bigger
than i thought. The game is fun but more frustrating if you play
with randoms: there is no chance of you having impact if zerg
dont have to worry about other terrans.
       Some more specific points:
       - The game is still 2v1 winnable by terrans, maybe even more so
       - Playing agressive, and pushing after min 15 is much easier
       - Roach is nerf was really a game changer (maybe a bit too much,
but now i think it is where it should be - we will see)
       - Firebat is completely useless, even as "tank" when pushing,
maybe with armor upgrade, but i think it is not worth the
       investment
       - Zerg needs to use hydras to defend early pushes but that eats
up a lot of money (can be looked at if hydra cost needs change)
       - infestor big spine defense is much more crucial. Loosing any
       big spine is game over
       - I like the fortification gives +2 armor, it helps with the
lack of chem. But did not see it how much it impacts lategame
       - HG turtle is pretty well nerfed too with the yard / defender
changes. Converters coming back in play maybe?
       - It still feels like zerg needs somekind of Armor 1 unit,
8-18min zerg has nothing to hold back terrans basically
       - Players complain about lack of Chems, they are still in the
comfort of "trying to win solo"
       - Because of roach nerf, you can still expand for a long period
of time and it is worth it
       - Primals are now ok and you are forced to get them
       - Killing the side nexus for the buggo will be meta. That 1 big
spine that defends it, is way out of the zerg's defenses (like
infestor heal and the angle is wierd too)
       - Also from the side killing zerg eco will be meta too.
       - I have no idea where to put eco now as zerg...
       - Quality of life change with the cow / sheep charges is a babe,
       love you for it
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Roach nerf has much bigger impact that i thought it would. You
dont have the fear that around 14-15 min mark you have to have
solid walls, and defenses or you are dead.
Since this is not there anymore, you can pretty much expand much
later too if you got focused early.
Since players can handle roaches fine, and there is no chem,
there is a lot more gas to invest into eco / marine ups. This
       also buffs T2.
Zerg cant just rush to roach anymore when terrans get pushy, and
"auto win" (at least prevent pushes). So you have to delay
getting roach, have better eco, and just put down a few roach
       spawner as a filler maybe.
You have to focus higher tech as zerg, what needs better eco.
This makes playing zerg really hard.
I still think some armor 1 unit is needed for them: rework the
       tankling completely to this.
Ravators did not become broken as i anticipated, because marines
just hold fine, if walls are broken it is not insta death like
       before.
The forty buff was really nice too, i cannot highlight this
       enough.
       ---------------------------------------------------------
This is a really strong patch for the terrans, but players need
to adapt, and forget bunkering down. I think this should change
       with time.
Is it possible that loading screen have some information / tips?
I think it would be great to let terrans know: agression is key,
       not defending.
Nice changes on the game, this went even better than i expected.
       Keep up the good work

I've played a few games and it seems like everyone has caught on
pretty quickly. Terrans are expanding and attacking. It is
hard for zerg to hold but that's ok, zergs just need to get
better at it. The best thing about this patch is that if you do
manage to survive into late game as zerg, breaking the terrans
on the high ground is super easy now. So far I give this patch
       an A+.

Damn, almost as if heXnabs knew what they were talking about.
Try pushing early though. You can clear the spires (important
zerg economy at that point) at 12 minutes with T1 if you are
free. If you macro well behind it you can easily tech up into
       the new, still overprized, veteran.
I love the patch, too. Games are intense, the old stupid firebat
is out, which is good. A terran just letting his allies suffer
for 30min to build economy to end with a firebat ball really was
just disrespecting both the zergs and the terrans in the game.
       (@aVehicle lol)
Yard bunker with and without chemical as well.
Now imagine we remove italis, too. It's 25 stacks (25k) of
energy for a unit that doesn't really help pushing & delays ion
       cannon.
You don't have to like this, but this patch is close to what
       heXnab envisioned lol.

I think the patch is close to be perfect :)
