Barely won vs. vets today... not with roach though (kinda unused
to hitting that tech timing^^)
Was a hard game... I played like shit. Don't really want to base
balance on a game I played that poorly (and had 1 insta quit,
too)
Did some nice micro splitting up 3 ultralisk (you've read the
correctly, and I didn't confuse unit name) to be so far apart
they'd not take shatter hits. Was probably the best play I did
in that game tbh.

maybe I'm just ignoring it because I love this patch, but I
don't think I'd find many complains if I was going through my
replays lol.
Yes, you do. And you won't find ppl complaining when only
playing pre lobbys. :)
Anyway, i'm tired of discussion why/what/where. Facts are:
1. Removing bats was good. They were just broken.
2. Removing chem hurts, cause of eco loss, less experienced
playerbase ( i wont use your rating high/mid/low, because its
NOT my place to rate other players ). You can notice this in
filling lobbys less slower, and people are just mad/sad or
already quit.
3. Removing chem is forcing terrans into exactly ONE playstyle.
If that doesnt work out, caused of teammates that lack
experience. You're fu****. This makes the game
frustrating/boring after experiencing this several times. ( You
wont understand, premate and ultra high elo mega hyper master
player, at least if i believe your words here. ). So, offering
terrans a 2nd way, however it may look, would be the key to give
everyone what he wanted. ( Ion isnt a 2nd way, its the last
trump card - Orginal from Oayoo '2020 )
4. You would realize all this if you would stop
self-congratulating yourself in every post like how good you
microed this, or how great you did that and just read and
UNDERSTAND what other players are talking. Maybe ask Oayoo if he
could explain to you. He was at least able to teach you ZHx on
ultra high elo mega hyper master rating, so.
Nice evening to everyone.

I only played 1 8 party lobby (pretty boring)
I usually have 6, sometimes just 5 randoms in my lobby.
But glad you realized I'm a super pro /s

Lobbies are filling pretty quickly every time I join. Maybe
even quicker than before.
I would argue this is more due to a mix of patch curiosity +
holidays are coming up soon. A lot of the people I've been
seeing around have been more experienced (not necessarily
high/above average skill) players whose names are at least
partially familiar to me.
As Buggo stated, a decent number of pros are okay or happy with
the patch, but most of the average players I've asked very much
dislike it. The skill curve overall intensified in spite of the
game's overall simplification, and I think that it's likely that
the bump that this game got (that drew in a lot of
average/casual players) from being on WinterSC's stream might
end up dropping off as those players leave the playerbase.
And I would also lay down a warning that just because you can
usually see one lobby around does not mean that this game is
invulnerable to having its playerbase die out. I've seen many,
many custom games with similar levels of play that have,
ultimately, died out.

Having looked at a site that monitors lobbies for arcade games,
the game actually has been slowly declining in popularity months
before patch^^ New patch might make that a bit more apparent,
but on the other hand might also make the game more popular
(most people dislike unupdated games, unless they are in a
really good spot).

Nah, just repeating your words. You’re still a hardcore wannabe
in ”my book”, having the luck being surround by quiet decent
players carrying your a**. Play 10 random lobbys alone with the
average type of terran ( 10/30~ ), get all the focus and win
this ( impossible, you know this, beside zerg decides spines are
the way to eco ). Then tell me again its the best patch you’ve
ever seen. Pretty sure you will just insult people again after
second game. And you’re talking here? You wanna teach people
they carried their ass for ages in what way ever. b**** please.

Am I late for some trash-talk, isn't this the forum where we
call one another Noob until one suffers a heart attack and dies.
But seriously Guys the purpose of games is to have fun, people
have fun in different ways, some enjoy the thrill of a good
game, others enjoy winning after putting a bit of effort in it,
as Zerg Hex is now, it's not impossible to play, but is it fun
for everyone?
As I see it now, it's great for players that know the game to
some degree and wish to put in effort to win, but we casuals
find it hard to follow, we need simple understandable
guidelines, but not rocket science. As Zerg Hex is now, casual
players won't know how to play the game and good/average
players, as I've read so far aren't really enjoying it, meaning
that neither side is satisfied.
I will put Dota as an example, it was never an easy game to
play, but it did become a great game because it was fun to play
and because one good player could carry the team or at least
teach others how to play real fast, Lol is the most popular Moba
game right now, because it's the most casual friendly out there,
while Dota 2 is dying, don't let Zerg Hex die.
Zerg Hex is at that Crossroad, it can become something great, or
become another forgotten arcade in the pile of discarded modes.
As it is now, the only solution is to create Two Zerg Hex Mods,
but there's only one WMaster, I'm sure that he can make two mods
out of this, but it's 100% sure that one of the two mods will
become obsolete and in turn get no patches. It's quite simple
really, all the creator has to do is put a second mod out and
see which one will be higher and put his efforts on the one with
greater success out of the two, I'm sorry for the heXnab,
because they would be the losers if this happens, because it
will be impossible to find a match to play then, right now Zerg
Hex is popular because of its really interesting concept and
free YouTuber advertisement, unless heXnab gets thousands of
followers playing the game, I can't see them gaining what they
want if this happens.
Of course that depends on what WMaster enjoys to play more, is
he into the more competitive or the casual fun based gameplay?
???

You know that zerg hex didn't need youtubers to have players ?
If you don't like the current game you can play other arcades, i
advise you to play some line tower wars or lottery TD.

Funny sidenote. The Blizzard Competitor Heroes of the Storm is
by faaar not as popular as the other mobas because it is
teamfocused and you can't solocarry that easy. Ironic..
