6. Very few ions shot, very low wall upg in general as I
mentioned before.
7. I asked some players like ten, and how they think about the
patch, most players absolutely hate it.
Pros (80%WR) seem okay with the patch.
Some personal thoughts, so the game is definitely more
competitive; however, the gameplay and strategy are limited to
Marin push and Bruta rush. I don't like to be honest, and I
prefer more creative gameplay and a good unit combo. From the
older patch, firebats push and ion finish were options. In order
to play Terran, you definitely need some good allies. Zerg play
becomes tedious as I'm not a big fan of bruta rush.
I suggest asking for some opinions from more general players, as
they are the main flow of the game.
Maybe I should go back to ladder haha and get my master border

damn u... now its rly hard for me to voice my opinion without
just repeating what u said :D this post and the one before are
100% correct
zerg is just tedious grind to a5, it is still posible to win
most random lobbies but its simply not fun, no matter how loud
oayoo scream otherwise roaches became garbage-tier not
god-one... I had games where I went roaches and I could not even
deny terrans their side gases as they just put 1 row wall and 10
vets- stopped any amout of roach
and with this any aggro build simply dont work, no matter how
much u slow terran, follow up dmg just comes too late, its bruta
rush all the way where transfuse from good defensive tool went
to "do or die"
terran is little better but its more due to fact gameplay is
new, so new stuff to figure out(and how funny it is to see how
dirty easy it is to hold anything zerg throw at u)
but its mostly t2 all the way, if I see zerg is bad and wont use
freedom too much I may even skip t1 all together
and nothing other than bruta do anything to them, had game where
I was basicaly zerg only focus on mid 8k units killed, 2k and
1.5k on my allies... still despite getting first spawners and
being little slow on taking 3 gas (hate mid), I just got vets
and casualy hold ALL zerg spawners without wall even when
roaches came, when 1 my ally finaly decied to join the game and
killed 1 big spine and spawners around it, I just went and roll
zerg over
so yea in general:
zerg gameplay- way worse experience, balance or not its simply
not fun to do anymore
terran gameplay- quite fun I will admit but most important
factors in it are new builds to figure out(or more like
different ways to do 1 build that is get vets) and dark
satysfation of how broken t2 became... how long it will be fun I
have no idea
and before someone (read speed) will come and say my opinion is
biased bc I am just another "middle tier scrub" bc I dont click
fast enough, as of now I have 80%+ wr on new patch playing
mostly alone and sometime with 1 other good terran so rly it is
not balance issue for me, balance wise I dont care, I was
winning with chems and roaches and I am winning without, its
simply less fun to do so now

I absolutely hate this patch, its ruined the game for me. I wont
be playing this anymore after 4 years of playing it.

Why are you guys 1 patch behind on meta???
Roach is still a good unit when terrans pressure you hard, it
doesn't counter T2 anymore (which adds more diversity to the
game).
You have to rush brutalisks NOW????? WTF? Yeah, they hard
counter T2 and they used to be the only achieveable thing to
counter old firebat relatively early on. Brutalisk would be
totally out of use if vet wasn't buffed and popular lmao.
Najdorf showed me a disgusting zerg build yesterday... Didn't
even need A4 & A5... 3 terrans were completely useless, 1 was
low mid tier, 2 were heXnabs... and I'm never playing vs. my
friends again, no fun beating them based on a the randomness of
a lobby, it just isn't enjoyable. Maybe in a super stacked lobby
where I'm sure they will win, but not in a dumbass public lobby
where they can end up with 3 useless allies^^
Try ultralisks vs. Vets. Veterans are meant to kill (not
counter) ultralisks, you can drain veterans hard with ultras,
7dmg vs. 4 armor, 8 dmg with armory buff = 35-47 shots needed.
Shatter buff irrelevant for 4 armor, was 0.5 dmg in old patch,
is 0.5 dmg in new patch.
Ion is so unpopular cause everyone is so fucking accustomed with
making 4165465463773567554 chemicals (slightly exaggerated
number) before upgrading generator and start ioning. That's why
I often won my zerg games vs. AFK turtles before they even got 1
ion off. You need to rush that shit or you will die without even
getting 1 out.
If you don't do damage when zerg is ecoing, zerg will outgrow
you, it was that way with chem, too. The reason you won with
chem & bunker play was that due to every zerg being a stupid low
eco player, if roach wasn't turbo broken in version3, you could
have ended the game with T1, or if veteran was useful T2... T3
could even do it (I did 40min elite push 0 chem once, no problem
lol. However my early pressure was so fucking weak, needed to
invest into late game eco (cow) early on. That shit slows you
down so much).
Btw, spaceballs held 15dmg up 2 infused roach + rav with +5
walls... you can bunker for a limited amount of time. Rush that
ion or get out of the game should have always been how bunkering
worked, but instead we had "camp until you are virtually
unkillable & then ion zerg with no counterplay"...^^
Yeah, I don't see many pros complaining (aVehicle is a bit sad
bunkering is gone, but he can do T1 now lol), and I think it's
common for the better players to adapt faster and enjoy changes
(even if the changes aren't the greatest) than low / mid tier
players that have no clue how to play old patch & and even less
clue about new one lol. Apart from forum, some reviews, and a
handful people on different discords, I haven't seen people
complain... maybe I'm just ignoring it because I love this
patch, but I don't think I'd find many complains if I was going
through my replays lol.

That is true Roaches do literally nothing to Veteran Marines and
in the Armorybuffrange even T1 Marines can defend almost any
amount of Roaches. You can push into Primals and low amounts of
Ultras just fine and only if you face massive amounts of
Ultralisks you need to wait for Elites at your Armory. You are
far away from ever struggleing against any amount of anything in
a defensive position and have large amounts of time to wipe
Zergs Lowground.
You cannot deny that this is an issue. Zerg has no other option
than hitting the transfuses and if you fail that you are forced
to make whatever eco allows you. Unfortunally that is Primals or
with some luck Ultralisk that doesn't do enough to handle with a
vital ball of Veteran Marines. I wasn't even talking about
Roaches. There are not as good as Oayoo wants you to believe. In
reality they are trashcan-tier now. If you ever see a Zerg
commiting into Roaches, Terrans can transition to T2 and before
Zerg has the income to counter them with A4/5 Mass Ultras or
Brutas they most likely steamrolled over anything. Once Zerg
loses a Bigspines it starts a Snowball that Zerg cannot stop
anymore.
The +1 on Veteranshatter simple denies any midgame unit to Zerg.

You actually have to use them in a clever way to win ? How is
this possible. WHY CAN'T WE JUST 1 CLICK TO WIN... damn patch...
Roaches are still top tier units x) and totally able, if well
played, to annihilate pack of vets.

u are so mean execting acutal fact from a nab...
u just have to belive... that his amazing micro incomprehensible
for mere mortals like us breaks the laws of math and suddenly
roaches that die in 3s have enough dps to kill vets in their
"pack" (still no idea how the hell that supposd to look... are
some random lets say 10 vet packs suddenly appear in ur
matches?)
