Re: One quick question toWmaster to end this flame war

To get to the original question. I would side with the notion
that some things from versions 3.0 onward were good and that it
could use some adjustments to improve further.
In general I would like that there are more strategies possible
and viable. This also means defensive strategies for those who
like that. Some things just have to be tested and adjusted. I
hope to find some clever ideas to solve for problems instead of
removals. As for the Chemical Plant, it might get re-added later
when a great idea comes along or it fits good with other
features that have since been added.
I try to keep notice of both sides, looking at what they agree
upon, it wouldn't do much to say it has to be played a certain
way without arguments. As I prefer multiple strategies being
viable. Flaming is not advised because this costs a lot of
energy which could otherwise be used for ideas and insights.
Hope to have clarified what you were looking for. Thanks for
trying to make the forum be without flame. Much appreciated.

What about "Zerg Squares" Solution to handle this?
-> Reducing output to 6 gas instead of 10
-> increase size to 3x3 to prevent inbase stacking
-> Needs Tier 2 for Chemtech
-> reduce initial costs,
->-> to 400 -> 300 for tech (it requires tier 2 before which is
effectivly still +150)
->-> to 600/200for building (to compensate 40% lower output and
like 70% lower output per square)
->-> revert firebats to 3.x version using gas and just nerf them
so zerg can handle with hydras strikes.

Chem are perfect removed.
They are not compatible with the way this map works
However, you can afford to buff the survivability of Firebats,
they should tank more (BUT the damages must remain LOW, they are
perfect right now).
You can add lot of good stuff like something around the bugo !!

How about we keep this thing out of the game for good. With how
defenders have been ne... changed, even max walls are kinda
useless. So chemical would just be a money waste. Of course it
depends on how the game is changed in the future, but looking at
it right now. - Never again.

Dont get me wrong, i like the new meta, but i see a place for a
weaker chem in it. it is about finding the right set of numbers
and square is atleast close to it.

Weird, cause I don't. Chem was a huge committment, for huge gas
income. If you're looking for a small committment for small gas
income, we do have that, it's called "converter". Though I
personally find it hard to fit 100 gas for research that will
only make walls free and unlock converter but nothing else, and
then each converter is another 100 mineral investment and they
have to burn 200 minerals and you are back to same amount of gas
as you were before you invested into the upgrade.
