       a simple zerg build

       so I just recently started playing this again, but here are my
       tips for zerg play base on mechanics on 1v1 ladder that I have
       learned over the years
       1.  at the start of the game, I always do 3 set of hotkeys to
       start off.  4 for all the spawners, 5 for the all the nest, and
       6 for the hive.  This will come helpful when you need to micro
       and macro at the same time instead of clicking on the minimap
       and wasting that few extra seconds.
       2.  Identifying which terran is actually competent.
       Terran - 1 gas -  I would just ignore them and focus your micro
       on others
       Terran - 2 gas - depending on how they position, those that use
       a wall to aggro your units to their 1 marine, I suggest hold
       till you have about 5-6 units then Shift + A on the refinery (
       after that shift + A again on that area so they focus their next
       task)
       Terran - 3 gas - they will use a wall to aggro your units to
       their 1 marine, do same suggestion on terran on 2 gas.   Those
       that take 3 gas will always lose 1 no matter  what if you
       actually Shift + A on the refinery and do some microing, if you
       aggro to just attack to that area, they will aggro the marines.
       3.  Que a drone, at 200 mineral, build your first spire then 4
       strikling.   do a separate hotkey for the strikling and rally to
       hold at a location.  This is where you will use your first set
       of group hotkeys for units,  use these strikling to flank terran
       without a shock, there are plenty of terran who builds a 4th
       marine instead of a shock, punish them.
       my plan is always central towards one side and not middle.   I
       will focus most of spawners on one side,  middle and the other
       side I use hydra and infestors for support.
       key notes **
       ** T1 marines lose energy like a mofo, when they kill your
       initial spawners, build slowing spawners to replace them, they
       are good meat shield to drain the T1 marines energy.
       ** creep is your best as in zerghex as it is in ladder.  They
       provide vision on the minimap as well as a speed boost.  The
       speed boost is godly no matter how you look at it.
       **  always spread your hydra and put them in hold position and
       ready to attack.  Hydra has high DPS, if they form a good arch,
       even T2 can't kill them, when they stim, move back, wash and
       repeat.
