We should send this replay to Harstem for IODIS :P.
Anyway, while I don't think this replay makes a strong case, I
do think it still shows an imbalance. dream, as bot right, was
left alone until their first push at 14:30. At first I was
thinking, "oh, the bot zerg panicked too much when getting
attacked and stopped macroing, and Scarlett was doing [s]her
       4-gate stalker all-in[/s] lings/strikes-only despite having
roach tech at 18 min," but then I realized that the game was
actually decided at about the 15 minute mark, even though the
game actually lasts until 30:00. At 12:00, dream had an insane
400/300 eco :o. Sure, the zerg had a respectable 5k combined
eco at 17 min, but there was no way that zerg could actually
make enough forces to overpower bot right. If they decided not
to eco, they could get more units to defend against dream in the
short run, while if they did eco as they did in this replay,
they still couldn't defend against dream. The fact that the game
is decided so early is why I think this replay does show that
terran is imba. I think ZergTriumph is right in saying that the
zergs have little opportunity to win, since there are evidently
       too many ways to lose.
Now for devil's advocate, here's another thought though: how
many good terrans should it take until zerg should lose? It's
often claimed that one pro (masters/GM) terran can carry the
game, but actually it's not true (hence the capacity lock
argument). In this game, one such pro terran was allowed to
expand freely, but I think there were a total of 4 good or
better (low diamond+) terrans (which is why I said the replay
wasn't a strong case). Sure, with a couple decision changes here
and there in hindsight, the zergs could have eliminated 3
terrans in total instead of just 1 by the end of the game at
30:00, but there's no way they could have won against terran in
the end. While we all agree that in an equal-skill case, 6
terrans should beat 2 zergs while 2 terrans should lose (that
is, with 4 other afk terrans), what about 4? Would it be a 50-50
chance? Unfortunately, I don't think this is straightforward to
answer, since WMaster is trying to balance for random lobbies,
       if I understand correctly.

You can have 300/300 @8min. Just saying.
And Zerg can have 9k combined @ 17:30. Just saying. (While
making 3-6 hydras between 8-10minutes and infestors ~11+)
Except for dream each terran seems pretty bad or is focused too
much to properly play the game. Just because there is a SC2
ladder pro in there doesn't mean it's high skill lobby. You
don't base CS:GO balance / design off of games that a SC2 pro
plays there. Just because zerg hex is SC2 arcade game it's
hardly related to SC2 ladder beyond UI design.
Remove 15 starting supply from zerg, but give them 1 more
starting spire on high ground. It's gonna help zerg economy by
quite a bit, make all-ins ever so slightly harder (but not
       really). Najdorf idea btw^^.
I'm just gonna put this here, as food for thought for you guys,
if zerg upgrade capacity before 10min they deserve to lose. Dog
       IQ gameplay.

Also have an actual turbo gameplay for you guys to enjoy here.
If I remember correctly it's noobie zerg focusing all effort on
adam, meanwhile I go turbostomp him x) Maybe I'm remembering
incorrectly though. Just look at my pushing progress and income
at 15min, that's what the game is all about^^

I've seen master+ 1v1 player's play zerghex, and they tend to
get by as zerg but usually thrash the zerg as terran with their
high apm capabilities. It takes a few games of zerg to actually
figure out how to play, or a few games against zerg to
       understand the meta.
But yeah, zerg is pretty unplayable atm :/

those that master in 1v1 tend to do really well in this game and
pick it rather fast (especially those that main zerg)
