Trouble joining lobby

This quesiton may have been covered in the link below, so if
that's the case my apologies but please let me know.

I can't seem to join ZergHex *at all* which is a recent
development over the last week or so. I have no connectivity
issues or problems elsewhere in Battlenet, just this specific
mod. The game says joining lobby and never joins even if I try
10 times. I have restarted my machine, reinstalled SC2, etc. and
nothing.
Is this me or is this a mod issue? Thank you

It's a Blizzard issue. Only the "premium" arcade games like
Direct Strike are available on a regular basis now. Blizzard
recently announced it won't be making any new paid content for
Sc2, so they seem to have decided to let it die.

Thank you for the reply, ZergTriumph.
If that is the case, why are other people allowed to join the
lobby? I see games hosted that launch. I also cannot host a
game, but it seems others can.
Also when you say, "let it die" does that mean this issue is
unlikely to get resolved? Hopefully that is not the case because
I love this mod.

I'd assume it's blizzard server issues, there seems to be
different levels of difficulty for the maps and I feel like some
players are luckier than others when it comes to joining games.
Will this issue be resolved? Well, I feel like if SC2 had a
higher priority in Activision Blizzard's list it would have been
fixed a while ago, but I feel like they will eventually come
around and normalize their stuff. Though their response to the
issues at hand has been pretty poor so far x)
I usually have no issues when it comes to joining zerg hex
lobbies anymore, creating lobbies takes a few attempts
sometimes, but occassionally it actually works first try, too. I
don't know which server you are playing on, but they are
affected differently, too, e.g. Asia is actually fine for
whatever reason, NA & EU are often different performance wise,
sometimes NA works better, sometimes EU, perhaps trying a
different server might help you (even if the worse ping is
annoying of course).

I don't know. This has been going on for 2 full weeks across
the NA and EU servers. Blizzard clearly doesn't give a shit
about this game anymore.
