Why should middle get gen 3 at the start? Why should middle get
special privilege when its no different than the sides besides
positioning

because i am a noob and got the RedSpawner Energy ripped?
Reapers can t hold the start...
shocktrupper has the power to hold all. but you not have the
energy.
My problem is, that i hit the Stone and kill the energy.
but i got some (5) startspawner of the first supply + red.
if you want have no energy problem, you can play with mouse and
cat(zerg). Yes if you not focus, this work easy.

okay maybe genlvl3 is a bit to much help.
but gen lvl 2 would be legitim.
Tesla/pylon at start in base, can t help if you have gen lvl 0..
wow thanks look at that, we didnt start at gen lvl0 :)
I have another Thread in Forum (Subject)
about Pylon without yard tech
or lower mineral because no use of energy save like it was
before 400energy safe was 40mineral.
400 energy safe is deleted, price is same...
not so nice :D
but my problem is more to build a Yard because I eat the Vespene
faster than i have 100.

or give mid a free reaper, or extend the outer sea to prevent f2
hitting you on 3 side at once, or give him flat 1k energy to
compensate for the increased pressure. 1k is alot like 2 extra
marines until your own eco kicks in

Being in middle is certainly a bit worse than being on a side

I am with you speed, if we buff mid then all that will do is
make zerg target side. And then we are in the same position
where you cant hold early if zerg just all ins you. As a solo
terran you should not be able to hold all early spawners built
on you unless A: Zerg is trash B:You have amazing micro and know
what you are doing. If we just buff all terrans with something
similar all it will do is make it easier to kill zerg(which can
be done with 2 players who know what they are doing)

reaper hilft am wenigsten, weil er hp technisch mit 3-5 hits
kaputt ist.
ich mag zwar Reaper, Reaper sind Technisch mit ihrer Range dem
Marine stark unterlegen. (sowie in hp wie oben beschrieben).
Eigentlich hat die Marine viel zu viel hp, für das was sie sich
an Sicherheit Splash/Splitter Damage und +1 angriff erarbeiten
kann.
Eigentlich hat das Marinchen von Haus aus 10hp zu viel, ob man
ein schild hat. Aber keine Ahnung. Ist einfach sehr viel
handelbarer als ein Reaper, der ganz allein ist und direkt mit
dem 8Unit Grüppchen zerstört wird, weil hp und angriffsstärke
schwach sind.

1k start energy is to much
200 Energy in Gen would be okay.

yeah middle Raffenery 3 is really bad position, really hard to
defend. but in the start, raffenery 2 also try hard to micro the
zerg out.

I mean honestly just get better at micro, that's all I can say
:P
Mid position is fine, yes third gas could be a bit easier to
defend but other than that nothing needs to change. I like the
variety in starting positions. I'm completely against making the
game easier for terrans. You can already kinda hold an f2
without losing to much ground which is frustrating enough as
zerg up to the point where I've given up on that ages ago. And
as Rick said the way that the spawners auto rally makes it that
mid is easier to hold onto 3 gases than the sides are because
you can keep your units closer together and still kill all
slowlings coming your way. Terran needs to keep some weaknesses.
On another note it's easier to take 2 additional gases on mid
because they are out of vision and many zerg will not check
those regularly. + once you are established mid is as hard to
break as any other side.
