Excuse me, I thought top players win with T1 / T2?? Why would we
have needed to ion?
Adam explain please, why would a "tryhard" like me, who loves
building T1 every game, ever play an ion game?

Nop, i was with speed.
Space did a game alone.
Ion isn't out, it still can win against average Zerg.
Obviously against a good Zerg, watever the patch, bunker should
loose.
