Transfuse

The transfuseanimation has an incredible long windup time before
it heals. you almost have to predict when terrans will hit
overcharge. please fix.

100% agree. The animation takes way too long. Played a game
today and had 8 or so infestors with +400 energy literally rapid
firing transfuse on a spine.. Somehow, 30-35 bubbled vets still
killed it ??? ??? ???

exactly the issue. Bubble Vets™ melt everything. Partially the
reason why I suggested to nerf bubble. Transfuse animation is
definitly too long. But I think the time to kill a big spine is
too short. So in addition to faster animation the time to kill a
big spine needs to increase. Either by reducing dps or
increasing hp pool.

30 vets = 1.2k minerals.
Dealing a lot of damage seems fair?

much fair seeing as you can get them by 14-15 mins and zerg has
no way of dealing with it. Other than early aggression of
course. But that just loses to 16-17min Bubble Vets™

You have to be fairly good to have 30T1 with sufficient
generator, upgrades and income at 14 minutes... no way you have
30T2 at 14minutes.
Yes, veterans are strong, but let's not post totally unrealistic
timings.
I guess you can kinda have veterans 14-15minutes, but more like
15-20 and it costs the terran a lot, because he has to tech up
which is a lot of gas, and his early pressure is likely going to
be a lot weaker (too much money and attention on getting fast
T2)
I personally don't even make veterans until something armored
shows up.
For how unwinnable / unplayable zerg is many still want to play,
which is kinda sad for me, cause I'd love to zerg, terran
gameplay is straightforward (which is good), so I kinda figured
it out fast... zerg however... zerg needs some figuring out :p
Zerg always needed more skill than terran, especially the
fragile economical strategies (which frankly should be the only
strategy up to a point, building spawners up front and upgrading
capacity is a cheap attempt to destroy terrans early on). It's
always been hard to win several good terrans, since if it was
"easy" to beat them, lobbies with few / no good terrans would be
pretty close / an actual zerg freewin.
I kinda see myself as a big problem for zerg^^ even though I
stay away from macro assists like auto-upgrade and auto-train
(building farms is the harder part anyway) I still make lethal
armies and pushes and I outmicro big spine in a way I only see
the least players do (the closest would probably be Roger who
can do stuff like this:
HTML https://streamable.com/y3ztc5
)
There is no "fix" for this, if you give zerg tools to stop
players like me if they do it well, then stopping lesser players
will be easy, even with some mistakes probably.
Also there seems to be some misunderstanding about the big
spine, it's a static defense and as such naturally falls off
later into the game, if you can take it with 20T1, then 30-40 T2
should never have trouble... at that point you need some actual
units to push it back. (primals are actually not that bad, their
3 armor is perfect vs. the shatter buff, and they got an HP buff
that is actually quite nice). Zerg is just is a little slow vs.
good terrans, this again is necessarry because if it was fast
enough for good terrans, lesser terrans wouldn't be a problem.
Buy all the time you can while trying to get eco and tech and if
the terran is faster just accept that they did it very well lol,
just because you lost a game doesn't mean it was bad. Unless of
course your so called "casual" approach to the game requires you
to win vs. anything and everyone and also on your own, at which
point I'd not consider it far from casual. Even I don't expect
myself to solo zerg hex, hence I play in premades with at least
1 other "skilled" player.
