Inderdaad .
En gebeurde die revisie niet door Audio 4 ?
Zijn dat niet de mannen waarmee problemchild ( zie Pureforum )
zoveel miserie heeft ?

Yep. Maar het voordeel van een 2dehands aankoop van luidsprekers
is natuurlijk, dat je die kunt beluisteren als de verkoper
beweert dat ze perfect spelen.. En dan hoor je echt wel of het
deze keer goed gedaan is of niet. Als het niet goed gedaan is,
spelen ze zwak en zonder veel dynamiek, of zijn er resonanties
hoorbaar. Het lijkt me moeilijk om hier een kat in een zak te
verkopen. En als de verkoper alllerlei smoesjes bedenkt waarom
je ze niet zou kunnen horen (een populaire is: ik heb geen
versterker meer, wel breng er dan gewoon zelf een mee), dan
beslis je gewoon deze kelk aan je te laten voorbijgaan.

De JBL L300 Summit werd gefabriceerd van 1975 tot 1982 en waren
het audiofiele wonderkind van JBL in hun gloriejaren.
Een Amerikaanse review van ongeveer tien jaar geleden schrijft:

Er staat geen prijs bij, maar uit nieuwsgierigheid heb ik de
verkoper via e-mail gevraagd hoeveel hij of zij ervoor zou
willen hebben. Ik weet dat enkele Nederlanders deze speakers ook
ontdekt hebben, dus voor een prikje zullen ze waarschijnlijk
niet weggaan...

Dit zijn toch wel heel aardig klinkende B&W Matrix 1 of 2
luidsprekers voor héél weinig geld. Ik zou zeggen: grijp je
kans!

Ik wou wel dat 2dehands.be zijn foto's wat langer liet staan,
zodat je er nog naar kunt verwijzen.
Enfin - dit vond ik zeer opvallend: een line array voor een
prijs (199 euro!!!!) waaraan je hem zeker niet kunt bouwen!

Er zijn maar heel weinig conusluidsprekers die ik zo goed vind,
dat ik er tevreden mee zou zijn als ik geen elektrostaten had of
als mijn hele collectie zou verbranden of zo.
Tot dusver stond bij mij op nummer één de Quadral Vulkan mark VI
en iets later de vroegere mark-nummers. Maar ongeveer een jaar
geleden was ik bij een Nederlander die Quadral Titan had staan,
het model hoger en groter dan de Vulkan. En hij had ook een stel
Cabasse Brigantin VI staan. Dat waren echte oogopeners. Die
klonken beter dan de Titans!
En wat ziet mijn lodderig oog? Brigantin IV!

De verkoper van deze prachtluidsprekers zit in Geleen (een half
uurtje rijden bij mij vandaan) en hij wil er graag 1750 euro
voor, wat een heel schappelijke prijs is. Ze zijn wel wit
geverfd door de vorige eigenaar. De verkoper heeft ook nog een
stel Brigantin VI in originele wortelnotenkleur en nog een in
zwart staan, maar daar wil hij 4500 euro voor. De Brigantin VI
is de laatste die door Georges Cabasse geproduceerd werd.
Volgens de verkoper zijn beide Brigantin paren in topconditie,
met driverranden en onderdelen van het crossoverfilter in puike
conditie. Cabasse geeft trouwens een levenslange garantie op
alle onderdelen van zijn luidsprekers.
Die witte voor 1750 zijn in elk geval een buitenkansje. Ik kan
het me momenteel niet veroorloven, maar anders voegde ik ze bij
mijn verzameling!

Verdorie BM , jouw " lodderig " oog kan goed zien ! :))
In elk geval zien dat er potente speakers uit voor een heel
aanvaardbare prijs .
