       Theme: Waves
       Dichotomy of ebb and flow
Life is constantly in flux and ever-changing
Allow your thoughts to flow freely like waves, watching them to
       approach and then retreat
       Emphasis on fluidity in movement
Incorporate movements that emphasize the idea of push and pull
Mantra/Intention: I allow myself to ride the wave and trust
       where it will take me.
I invite you to think about one thing in your life that you
would like to let go of, and also one thing that you want to
       call into your life.
       Pillar sections:
I would incorporate the theme of waves into the sequencing of
the entire class. I would have students flow through Sun A
forward and then backwards, like a wave goes out to shore, and
       draws back to the ocean.
Breathwork - listen to the sound of waves within you as you
       connect to your ujjayi breath
       Integration (cat/cow)
       Creative section
       Music:
       Sound of waves
       Ambient, upbeat music
       Uplifting acoustic
       Poses:
Flowing warrior II to reverse warrior, warrior II and skandasana
Undulating dog (flow DD to plank)
Chair pose, chair twist, chair pose, chair twist flow
       breath-to-movement
       Dolphin pose
       [/quote]
Immediately sign me up for this class! Olivia this sounds like a
beautifully thought out and orchestrated practice. I hope to
take this class from you in the future.

       Theme:
(Acceptance) Allow things to be as they are, not what you think
       they should be.
       Pillar Sections:
-Child Pose (cue grounding breathe work): “In the moment of
stillness I encourage you all to free yourself from any
expectations of how your practice should feel or look today.
Instead can you just allow your practice to unfold in front of
you, can you let this experience just be what it is, instead of
seeking to control how you think it should make you feel.”
-Surrender (Hip Openers/Accept What feelings or sensations may
       arise.)
       -Settling into Savasana
-Fetal Pose: “Maybe part of happiness is less action and more
acceptance, it’s letting every situation be what it is, instead
of what you think it should be, and then making the best of it.
How can you invite acceptance into your life beyond your mat, is
there any happiness to be gained for just allowing things to be
instead of speaking to control them.”
       Music:
       “Circles” The Cadallilac Three Cover
       “Lately” Noah Cyrus Tanner Alexander
       “Settling” Ripe
“Chasing Stars” Alesso James Bay [stripped]
       “Surefire” Wilderado [piano]
       Poses:
Very Fluid Flow (Let go and let your body move freely.)
Standing Series (Because they can be very challenging especially
if you are seeking to control things beyond your breathe as
gaze. I would refocus on the classes energy on these things and
encourage them to let go of the things that are beyond there
control and let this operation of there practice be what it is.
And maybe if/when they let go of expectation they will find
“success” in the poses they seek to hold.”

Acceptance, what a great theme Alli. The opening quote is a
great intro to the practice and the remainder in the fetal pose
as it is such a guarded and protective posture. It's as if
students are giving themselves a hug with the words. Love it.
