:) Chapter 1
Reflecting on the first two chapters of Roadsigns, I'm sure you
noticed throughout the pages that Dr. Goldberg inserts quotes
from various faiths and philosophies.
Travel Tips:
Pick one of the questions at the end of chapter one to answer.
Respond to this topic with your chosen question and respond from
the heart with the information about the fab four pathways. For
instance:
3) What do you do when you're torn between what's right for you
on the one hand and tradition, teacher, or text on the other? If
you find yourself in acquiescence, ask yourself? (pick a
question to answer)

Chap one
I would describe the purpose of my path is one of discovering
how to stay on course to discovery of my authentic self. I
would like to figure out a discipline to stay on the correct
path for me that will lead to the discovery of my souls mission
here in this human experience. Staying true to myself will lead
to richer relationships with the people I truly love. Rich
relationships and discovery of my souls intent are my purpose
here
On a spiritual level I yearn for true, deep connections and
relationships with people and nature. True relationships take
work and vulnerability and its worth that cost to find my soul
mates.
My biggest obstacle right now to this discovery is being as busy
with work and kids as I am presently.
My life is full of constant distractions right now and is
somewhat uncomfortable. I am separated from my husband presently
as well which creates an interesting home life. Theres not much
fighting but not a connected, loving, supportive relationship
either. It’s a business relationship. Theres also not much
consistency in my schedule and Im a creature of habit so that
also makes things a bit difficult.

So this is a challenge for you, and one thing to consider is
you're taking the initiative to make changes by doing training.
This isn't just training; this also helps to hold you
accountable for things you want to manifest in life. Currently,
the training has been flexible due to limited time, and that's
ok, but as a disciplinary practice, one thing to do is start
journaling or do a daily ritual for yourself that helps to guide
you in the direction you want to go. Taking five minutes to
focus on your breath, take a bath, listen to yoga Nidra while
you prepare for bed, etc. Nothing will happen overnight; the
whole practice of yoga is a lifelong experience that will
oscillate between euphoria, enlightenment, epiphanies, and even
disappointment. The most important thing is to process what you
are feeling at the very moment and experience it in your body as
a way to translate the messages in the most supportive way
possible. The only person who can do that is you.
