       What happens to the dead?
       Ecclesiastes 9:5,10
       For the living know they will die; but the dead do not know
       anything, nor have they any longer a reward, for their memory is
       forgotten. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your
       might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or
       wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
       Psalms 146:4
       His spirit departs, he returns to the earth;
       In that very day his thoughts perish.
       Ezekiel 18:4
       Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as
       the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.
       Protect me in Hell and then remember me
       Job 14:13
       “Oh that You would hide me in Sheol,
       That You would conceal me until Your wrath returns to You,
       That You would set a limit for me and remember me!

       God did not leave Jesus in hell
       Acts 2:25-27

       Moreover my flesh also will live in hope;
       Because You will not abandon my soul to Hades,

       Hell is different from Lake of Fire
       Revelation 20:13, 14
       And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and
       Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged,
       every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then death and
       Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second
       death, the lake of fire.
       The price we pay for our sins is death
       Romans 6:23

       fallen asleep, he will recover.” Now Jesus had spoken of his
       death, but they thought that He was speaking of literal sleep.
       So Jesus then said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead,
