       Chat Room Rules

       [list]Here are the rules for the chat laid out in point form.
       Under each, I will elaborate. Lastly will be explained the set
       up of the YP chat/mansion.

       [li]Chat rules follow basic rules of forum
       etiquette.[/li][/list]
       This means no excessive cursing, do not beat on, or seemingly
       rule out a single person. Please try to respond kindly and
       courteously first. If things seem to get out of hand please head
       to a private channel, or take the conversation to pm.
       [list][li]3 strike system.[/li][/list]
       This means discipline for disobeying the rules of the chat is
       done by a three strike system. If you're told once to cease and
       you continue defiantly, a second warning will be given. If we
       have to address the issue once more that means you're out and
       will be kicked from the chat. If problems with a certain user in
       the chat persist, then that user will be banned from using the
       chat.
       [list][li]Chat rps need to be moved to different
       channels.[/li][/list]
       Public chat is a place to talk about subjects that are welcome
       for everyone to join in on. Things that follow under the
       Paradise Mansion related rp are fine for the public chat. Other
       than, that please move rps that develop plot or end up between
       only two people to a different channel. This is to avoid
       uncomfortable situations and to keep the public chat fun and
       free for everyone to use. We're not perfect, but let's try to
       keep people from feeling left out as much as possible.
       [list][li]Set up a forum rp over whispers.[/li][/list]
       A private channel is ok as well. Getting replies on ideas from
       another user is faster in the chat, so we can understand doing
       it this way if you both happen to be online, but once again to
       prevent people from being left out please go to a private
       channel or whisper. If you don't know how to whisper it's rather
       simple. On the right side of the chat you'll see a list of all
       of the users that are in a certain room or channel. Click their
       name to open an options menu, then click "send private message".
       That's how you whisper. ^.^ This rule also applies to any chat
       about a certain rp two people have.

       The YP chat is seen as a mansion for the members to use freely.
       There are multiple rooms and the fridge/pantry is always
       magically stocked by kitchen gnomes. The mansion is located in
       the middle of the forest, yet somehow still has full electrical
       and plumbing use. Each user has their own room within this
       mansion and no one else can enter unless invited inside first.
       If there's a chat rp going on between you and another person (or
       group) then please move to one of your rooms so that no one will
       accidentally walk in on you.
