AFC Champions League 1st Round.
FC Seoul VS Central Coast Mariners FC (B:MBC Sports Live)
BET : Away(+1).....2.15
STAKE : 4/10 (normal bet for me)
After long break in cold winter, we starts our new season from
2, Feb. It is really hard to see and collect infos related to
Asian section duo to language and access, I will help you as
many as I can. Let's see this game. It is a first round of AFC
Champions league held in Seoul Worldcup Stadium. But, I am
really surprised when I see this odds. What is this odd ? Will
we see big gap between two teams in the field ? No, I don't
think so. Yeap, I don't know about Socceroo teams well but I am
sure FC Seoul can't win this Socceroo easily. Of course, there
are some reasons.
First, it will be first game of FC Seoul in this year except
friendly games. We can think about physical conditions of them
in now. Compared to CC Mariners, FC Seoul will show big
diffenece dislike them. Traditionally, FC Seoul won the first
game of ACL matches in each seasons(f.e 5-1 Jiangsu, 1-0 Al Ain,
4-2 Sriwijaya). But, all these teams was really weak when they
are matched up each other. CC Mariners is much stronger than
these teams FC Seoul had met. Plues, Austraila A-league is
ongoing.
Second, FC Seoul is much much weaker than last season. They got
some players in transfer period like Woong-Hee Lee(great MF in
Daejeon), Jung-Hoon Kang(back from loan), Seung-Jo Kang(great MF
in Gyeongnam). However, all these players havn't experienced in
Asian club competition until now. And, key players in last
season like Dejan Damjanović(FW/29a, 19g, last season
topscorer), Dae-Sung Ha(MF/29a, 3g, last season captain), Tae-Uk
Choi(FW/10a, last season joker winger) were all left team and
the core of defence, Adilson(DF/33a, 3g) retired. These 4
players were key players in last season so we can predict FC
Seoul will fight middle-upper place in the league also.
Finally, there are two foreign players saying to stay who is
Sergio Escudero(FW) and Mauricio Molina(MF/35a, 9a, set-piece
kicker). But, the latter didn't participate FC Seoul training in
resting period because FC Seoul want to sell him(but nobody want
to buy him duo to high age). FC Seoul may win but I don't think
FC Seoul can win easily udner this conditions. I have tried to
find some infos about CC Mariners but I can't find. So, decide
to put small-medium stake in this game.
* FC Seoul pre-season result. (I searched and confirmed it all
from fan forum)
2/5 FC Ehime(J2 league) 2 - 1 (regular*reserve mixed up)
2/7 Kamatakare Sanuki(J2 league) 2 - 1 (all regular)
2/10 Shimizu S-Pulse(J league) 1 - 3 (regular*reserve mixed up)
2/12 Urawa Reds Diamond(J league) 2 - 3 (all regular)
2/12 Urawa Reds Diamond(J league) 0 - 2 (all reserve)
2/15 Kyoto Purple Sanga(J2 league) 1 - 1 (all regular)
2/15 Kyoto Purple Sanga(J2 league) 1 - 3 (all reserve)
Total, 2 wins, 1 draw, 4 loses (1 win, 1 draw, 1 lost in only
regular games).

J-league 1st round.
Sagan Tosu VS Tokushima Vortis
Pick : H(-0.75) @1.87
Stake : 5/10
I decided to put my stakes regularly against Tokushima Vortis.
This team were promoted from J2 league in last season with
winning promotion play-off but I don't think they have a power
to stay in J-league. They are small budget, that's why they
hadn't bought good players to fight equal quality dealing with
other teams. Meanwhile, Sagan Tosu stayed with very difficulty.
Especially, club gave a lot of money to support their team, more
exactly, their coach. Yoon Jung-Hwan bought 6 players including
ex-national player Hiroyuki Taniguchi from Kashiwa Reysol. And,
they proved in the match against Jeju United(2-2 draw) that they
improved their ability much. Many people will be packed even if
this stadium is small-sized and I think Sagan Tosu will win
against J2 meteral team.

J-league 1st round.
Nagoya Grampus Eight VS Shimizu S-Pulse
Pick : Over(2.5) @1.75
Stake : 4/10
It is toally based on last season stat & completed transfer
list. Nagoya lost last season regular two defender, Takahiro
Masukawa(33/1) and Shohei Abe(32/0). Tulio Tanaka(27/3) stayed
for Nagoya but he is too old(and I think his heyday was already
gone). Today, they will field new defenders. Meanwhile, Shimizu
S-Pulse concentrated to rainforce in attack. Main players that
bought is attack-minded players mostly. Shimizu S-Pulse was a
one of worst defense team in last season(59 goals conceded).
Today, Shimizu S-Pulse will be without Taisuke Muramatsu(33/4)
and newcomer Satoru Kashiwase(FW).

International Friendly
Greece VS South Korea
Pick : H
Odds : 2.00
Stake : 3/10
This is re-match of 2010 South America WC. South Korea won with
2-0 but players in South Korea team have completely changed.
There are no veteran players such as Park Ji-Sung(now-PSV
Eindhoven). However, more important thing is many players will
miss in this game. In our defence.... Cha Duri(def..FC Seoul)
had called but didn''t travel to Greece because he was injured
against CC Mariners in ACL. Seok-Ho Hwang(def) is also out for
injury in J league game, Kim Chang-Soo(def) and Kwak
Tae-Hwi(def..also captain in national team) are all out. All is
regular players in national team. Kang Min-Soo may be out
because he can't go into Brazil WC(he have to enter army until
April). There are no sub-players in defense. Futhermore, our
attack in starting is Park Chu-Young who played only 5 starter
in Arsenal for 2 seasons(!!!). I think Greece can, should and
have to win against poor quality team under this condition even
at their home. But, I take small stake because it is just
friendly...

K-league 1st Round.
Pohang Steelers VS Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i
Pick : H
Odds : 2.20
Stake : 3/10
This game has some meaning in each other. It is kind of derby
which is second biggest and it is a supercup which league winner
meet FA cup runner-up because Pohang Steelers was both winner.
Actually, Pohang Steelers has some problems. Their main sponser
don't have much money so they can't invest their team to prepare
new season. Pohang Steelers will play without any foreign
players like last season. Even they lost 3 key players like
Hwang Jin-Sung(mf, 22/6), No Byung-Jun(fw, 26/6) and Park
Seong-Ho(fw, 32/8). But, Pohang Steelers has a best youth systen
in Korea and they can solve this problem well. On the other
hands, Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i showed great aspect in ACL. But,
Pohang Steelers is totally different team with WSW. And, Ulsan
Hyundai Horang-i will miss their key players such as Caique(mf,
18/3) who was injured and Kim Shin-Wook(fw, 36/19), Lee Yong(df,
37/1), Kim Seung-Gyu(gk, 32) but the last will play. Anyway, I
think Pohang Steelers will win.

ACL 2nd Round.
Melbourne Victory FC VS Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
Pick : A(0)
Odds : 1.71(SBOBET), 1.70(Pinnacle)....
Stake : 4/10
If we seek some infos around this game, most of yours will bet
on Melbourne Victory FC because Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors traveled
only with 16 players. And, some of them are reserve players in
Jeonbuk. But, I expect Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors will win in this
match as I see today result(FC Seoul, Pohang Steelers). Yes.
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors left many regular players in Jeonju to
prepare next league match against Incheon. However, I can't say
these players are "so-called" regular and the others are
"totally reserve players". Players who didn't travel to
Australia are just ex-Incheon players. Maybe Jeonbuk Hyundai
Motors coach, Choi Gang-Hee already think next league match
against Incheon will fight with ex-Incheon players. Anyway,
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors traveled only 16 players but they can win
over Melbourne. One thing I worried about is they traveled so
long time from Jeonju to Melbourne(Jeonju - Incheon Airport -
Hong Kong - Melbourne).
