BASIC TIPS

---------------------------------------------------------
Players like Modric, G Bale, Varane, Benzema, even Xabi Alonso,
will be available again for the home side and Real will be at
full strength for this match.
Juventus miss Quagliarella, Lichtsteiner and Vucinic. Vidal has
recovered and he will be part of their midfield. Marchisio could
play behind C Tevez in a 3-5-1-1 formation.
Real will play against Barcelona this coming week end and maybe
that is why we are getting this decent odds on the home win.
Everybody may not agree, but how often do we get 1.61 on Real at
the Bernabeu Stadium.
I was waiting for the third Juventus goal against Fiorentina,
but then this astonishing collapse took place with Juventus
conceding four goals in some twenty minutes.
Buffon made one of his trade mark mistakes, but he was not
alone.
Two draws in this group for Juventus, against inferior
opponents, and then this miserable afffair in Florence, yes, the
Juventus machine is not working on all cylinders at the moment.
Real have not been in any kind of top form, so far, but this
week I expect their game of football to improve with matches vs
Juventus and Barcelona next.
Likely home win.

Dinamo Zagreb Vs PSV Eindhoven
Without any sign of good current form I cannot see the Croats
winning this match. OK, there may not be many more young,
inexperienced sides than this PSV side, but they won on their
visit to Ukraine, did they not? Questionable domestic form,
however, with PSV going down 0-1 to Groningen at the weekend. Ji
Sung and Wijnaldum have not joined the PSV travelling party. The
home side is struggling and they have to play this game without
supporters. Likely away win.

Arsenal Vs Chelsea
I prefer the away win despite the fact that Chelsea played
yesterday I figure they will have a stronger, more competitive
squad than Arsenal for this cup game. I can see players like
Demba Ba, S Eto’o, J Mata, M Essien, R Bertrand, De Bruyne, M
Essien, even D Luiz lining up for Chelsea. They did not play
against Man City and should play some part tomorrow.
Arsenal do not have “reserve players” of that calibre, but
Vermaelen is sure to play, N Bendtner as well, but there will
also be a couple of youngsters from the start and one or two of
their regulars, but not many. I am convinced Wenger will rest
most of his regulars, already focusing on their coming league
game against Liverpool. The away win looks quite logical to me.
